About Me

I am a transhumanist engineer designing neural interfaces at Harvard BIONICs Lab. I was trained as an electrical engineer at Drexel University with a focus on digital signal processing and wireless electronics. My curiosity towards the living systems, especially neuroscience, drived me to explore applications of electrical engineering (i.e. electronics, control theory, machine learning) to biology. My research is aimed at:

  • • Extracting the information embedded in neural signals

  • • Uncovering the etiology of neurological disorders and functions

  • • Designing evolutionarily informed biocompatible neuroprosthetics for improving neurological functions and treating disorders

  • • Developing minimally invasive techniques for neurosurgery

  • While investigating the questions above, I had the opportunity to diffuse into a multidisciplinary realm, working with scientists from various backgrounds— neuroengineering, neuroergonomics, data science, machine learning, omics, neuromorphic computing, radiology, molecular biology, virology, plant biology... Thus, I often approach scientific questions from a multidisciplinary perspective.

In the long term, I would like to design electronics and biomolecular tools for neuroimaging and neuromodulation.

As for the hobbies, I find joy in mountain biking 🚵🏼, hiking 🥾, and camping 🏕️. Going deep into the nature 🌲⛰️ reminds me of the mesmerizing evolutionary dynamics ruling our universe. It fuels my desire to explore and engineer biological organisms.
